There has been a ton of communication and lobbying towards Ottawa regarding the upcoming changes to corporate and farming tax planning. I will leave the rhetoric and lobbying to the appropriate groups, what I will say that if these proposed changes are going to impact you, please contact a professional about what your options are. Also, with the new BC government budget announced yesterday and announcing a change to Provincial corporate tax rates, it seems an appropriate time to chat about taxation in the business landscape.
That being said, I will be hosting an information session with some special guests to help people prepare for these potential changes. This will be a casual and intimate fireside chat style meeting, where we can discuss these proposals.
Friday October 13, 2017 at Unit B, 2309 McCallum Rd, Abbotsford, BC at 6:30pm, New Leaf Wellness Centre has graciously offered space for us to use.
If you are interested in attending, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 604-377-9350. These are proposals, and will be introduced next year in the spring budget if the government doesn’t change their minds. I am a firm believer that planning needs to be done to prepare for this, and what the best options are for business owners and farmers.
